Title: Bitter Sweet tag out in Maryland!
Post by: cajun1085 on May 06, 2014, 01:56:37 PM
Well finished my season with a 2nd archery kill today! It's bitter sweet because it looks like I will be deployed all of hunting season into turkey season next year. The good Lord blessed me with a unbelievable season this year. This one caught me by surprise!

23 lbs, 10 3/4 inch beard, 1 1/4 inch hooks!

Very impressive, I've struggled mightily in MD this year as the spring feels very late. Stay safe on deployment, and thank you for your service.

"HOOYAHHHHH" on Ol' Tom there.....OUT-TURKEY-STANDIN'. Keep yer "Wattles down n' Tail Feathers safe" till next year. Reason I left reserves after active duty.....always had a mission come November...I began to think my Command was against me wearing cammie vs. my dungarees.....HAHAHAHAHAHA".

Congrats on your tom but more important, thank you very much for your service and keep safe on your deployment.

It's because of men and women like you, that we can enjoy our hunting and 2ndA rights.

Thanks.
