I understand he builds some really nice tube calls and trumpets but how about his friction calls? I'm particularly looking at the curly maple and slate. Anyone have experience with his pot calls?
I just picked up one of Matt's tube calls. It sounds great and it's very easy to use. I would highly recommend it along with Joe Slaton's tube calls.

Yeah I know his tube calls get high praise but what about his pot calls?

lol..I know the feeling.
I've never ran one of his pot calls, but I have two of his strikers and LOVE them.
I have two of Matt's pot calls..
Both are very well made & have realistic turkey talk in them....
Just got a Matt Mclain slate, it sounds awesome all turkey and the black locust striker sounds good on some of my other calls. Highly recommend.

Can you post a sound file?
Does he have website or some place to see his work?
