Title: Barrel length for Benelli M2
Post by: BBD on April 20, 2014, 11:10:28 PM
After hunting with my sons 20 for a couple years I've decided to get me one.  Now my question for yall is do I want the 24 or 26" barrel? Pro's and cons?

I think 26 is better for an all around gun.  Not too short or too long and a good compromise.  If it's dedicated for turkey the shorter barrel is nice, but not needed since most 20's are light and handy anyway.

Exactly.  I had the 26" barrel on mine and was never a problem.  Light as a feather in turkey woods and was great on early morning hikes to wood duck holes.

I have the 26" barrel and shoots like a dream. Definitely my favorite. My SX3 may be camo and faster cycling and no slouch, but I have wanted this gun for a while and I am not disappointed.
