not sure what you mean? it's just painted flat black.. not the inside or the threads.

Just trying to figure out why in the world you would paint the lower portion of any choke? Seems it could cause fitment issues with the barrel wall.

little break cleaner on a rag.. it will all come off. Not powder coated or anything..
