The 3in surface I like but was picky for me in sound some woods liked some didn't lol,,,but the wormy chestnut makes for good slate call
The 3 1/4 IMO is little more for giving when building a call as is 3.5 in sound wise and I got the one sound file for these 3 1/4 calls and that's the sound I like in slate the wood sound board is what mellows it out ,,but I do like
Nice call mike, I think the 3.25" makes the best sounding calls, that's all i have ever used for my slate and copper calls.
