Title: Bushnell TRS-25
Post by: Akish79 on March 15, 2011, 09:35:28 PM
Just bought one and mounted it up on my 870.  So far I like it!  I need to get out and put a few shells down range to really see how I like it, but so far so good!

Anything I should be concerned with?  All of the reviews I read seemed really good.

Thanks!

Andy

Andy, how's the FOV on the small sight?

Looks pretty compact in the pictures.  Do you have a picture of it on your gun?

How much does it weigh?

Thanks,

I'll have to get a picture of my setup this weekend.  The sight is definitely compact.  That and the 3000 hr battery life were what drew me too it.  I've also always been partial to Bushnell optics.

I've been looking through it with both eyes open, so I can't really comment on the FOV.  The way I have it setup on my gun, as far forward as the weaver base allows, the sight kinda disappears when I have both eyes open and I mostly just see the floating red dot.

I'll take a picture of my shotgun this weekend and post it up for you to see.

Thanks,

Andy

Thanks Andy.

I saw those on sale for $99 and advertised to withstand heavy recoil.  May be a good inexpensive light weight optic for us turkey hunters. Batt life sounds good too.

Opticsplanet had them on sale for even cheaper.  $89.99 was the price I paid w/ free shipping.
