Post by: Longshanks on April 08, 2014, 02:02:07 PM
Winchester LB's for sale. Couldn't figure out how to get this in the classifieds.
If you guys could move it that would be fantastic.

2 boxes of 3" 6's

2 boxes of 3" 5's

1 box of 3.5 6's

Pm and work out shipping. Not sure how to go about shipping ammo.

I though you liked the LB's, gotta ask why your selling them?

Longshanks, I just read one of your other post in the open choke thread. Now I see, they are tight shooting for sure. If it was thicker here, and when the vegetation gets denser I may switch back to a different shell or go with my more open choke. I've killed 2 with the 3" LB 5's and they are devastating, but not a whole lot of room for error inside 40.

Why don't you carry another more open choke with you, when you hunt.  If your setup dictates it you could put in a more open choke for the closer shots, if you set up around a field or such that you have a 40 yard shot use the other choke.  It would be like carrying 2 guns, only with very little weight added.

Too much running and gunning to be switching out chokes and shells in the woods.
