Here is just a short video from this weekends scouting trip to my farm. These turkeys gobbled their heads off all morning and I got some great footage of them coming 300 yards across a field to me and gobbling their heads off all the way to 60 yards from me before walking off up the hill. Heard 9 different gobblers total Saturday morning, but these ol boys were gobbling fools! I will have the other gobbler footage up later in the week after I have edited it.
There is just nothing like that beautiful sound of the turkey gobble, never gets old and I could sit there and listen to it all day every day!! Like music to my ears strait from heaven, thank you Lord for creating such a beautiful creation and for instilling the passion and love I have for them in me!! Hope you guys enjoy it as much as I did. (Click the image below to play video.)

That's awesome......birds around here just don't seem to respond much to owls or crows, at least not with much regularity.....don't know if they're so used to hearing them that it doesn't phase them, or if it makes 'em hunker down or what
Ive got one farm that the birds will not respond to an owl anymore at all, heck they wont hardly gobble anymore at all. Idk if they have been harassed or what by owl but they wont hardly make a peep.
But I have been on 3 other farms owl hooting like in this video and had turkeys just erupt to it!! Gotta love it!

Yep !! Find myself daydreaming about it.... And start thinking I hear it even when not in the woods.
