Title: Long Beards not cycling
Post by: jdj263 on April 06, 2014, 06:52:20 PM
I patterned Winchester long beard #5s and 6s today and they were awesome. I am shooting a Beretta pintail 3"mag with a sumtoy choke and it would not cycle the second round. Anyone else experiencing this ? Tried several other loads without issue.

I shoot a Beretta 391 3" with a SumToy choke.  I shot the LB #5's two days in a row and didn't have an issue with cycling.  I have had cycling issues in the past.  Turned out a complete disassembly and a good soaking and cleaning fixed it.   Not sure if that helps or not.

Not trying to be rude and dont mean this the wrong way. But try cleaning your gun real well. My experience with automatics is they can be sensitive to cleanliness   Not all but some. Might be worth a try

Thanks for the info.....will try cleaning ...just thought it was odd that this round was the only one that wouldn't cycle.
