Title: old topper 16 face lift and ammo question
Post by: philipriley16 on March 31, 2014, 11:03:27 AM
Hello all I have a old h&r topper 16 with full choked barrel. I'm ordering a ati stock set and putting on gun with adjustable stock and adding camo job to it. Gun was passed down to me and is in rough shape. It will look good but I'm wanting to make it a primary turkey getter this year so my question is what factory shells should I buy and what kind of range should I expect thanks

I'm going to pick up a Stevens 94 16 gauge tomorrow, what loads worked out best for you?

Old federal #6 shot is what I found

I had a box of Federal 6s that I had bought years ago and tried them out today, they patterned really well at 30 yards, but the point of impact was really high compared to the point of aim.
