Congrats! And be thankful to have that long of season so you can enjoy it with kids, family, and friends! Between my work schedule and the wonderful 16 day season we have here in Arkansas I'll be lucky to get in the woods 6 days. However....I feel a sickness coming on....

What part of Arkansas? My brother lives up there in Centerton just up from Fayetteville. I'd like to go up there and hunt while I visit. He took me to a place in Winslow but the weather was awful and he said he's only seen 2-3 turkeys there in 3 years.
Nice bird. Congrats

Congratulations on a great season. I did the same thing a couple years ago, eight days into the season and I had killed my 2 bird limit. In one way it's very gratifying but then you ask what I'm I going to do for the next four weeks? So grab your calls and get out there with a youth or a good buddy and enjoy! By the way, at eight steps, what did the neck of that bird look like with the LB's?
Congrats on a fine bird.

If you can zoom in on his head you will see the two blood oozing spots . Really worked him over
