I really don't recommend shooting turkey guns from a bench. I sit in a folding chair and use a bipod to hold the gun up. I sit up streight and adjust the bipod so I can. This lets the shoulder and body rock back with the recoil. Nothing is worse than hunching over a bench shooting a turkey gun. It rolls the butt of the stock up on the collar bone and prevents the body from rolling back and is unnecessarily punishing. If you really want a bench, design one that will let you sit up completely streight when firing the gun. But it is a heck of a lot easier transporting a folding chair and a bipod.
THIS IS WAT I USE

YOU WON'T GET BEAT UP AND THIS IS A CONTROL SHOOTING , I CALL IT , THIS IS WHAT U KNOW WHAT YOUR GUN CAN DO AND A GOOD WAY TO SITE IT IN , WHEN U GO HUNTING ATLEAST YA KNOW WHAT YOUR GUN CAN DO AND IF THERES A MESS UP ITS NOT THE GUN ........
agree with outdoors, I use a different gun rest but it does the same thing, also sight in at 12 yards at a 1 inch square using 2 3/4" shells, then go to 40 yards and your turkey loads, that way you will reduce recoil on yourself and only have to shoot 3 or 4 turkey loads.
