SBE 2 owners what sling are you using on your gun? It seems with the recessed cap I'm limited to what I can use. I don't wanna take the camo paint off the end cap.
If you put a sling on, you will knock paint off the mag cap. I love my Benelli's but one of their weak points is definitely finish.

just got my new sbe2 a couple of weeks ago. put a sling on it when I went crow hunting. had to walk in pretty far as this farm has no road frontage or road. got home and noticed I had rubbed some paint of the cap. oh well. took the sling off, will throw over my shoulder from now on. hahahaha. never used a sling on my franchi. if you find a way, let us know. jesse
Uncle mikes used to make a benelli specific swivel. You could replace it with a claw slings swivel.
Yeah, the camo is pretty crappy for a $1,500 gun.

Use the hush swivels. They're plastic but durable

This is what I use.
I also use the hush stalkers with a claw sling on my SBE II. Been on there for 6 years with regular use, and no chips in the paint.
I use the claw sling and love it. But I have noticed the paint is coming off a little.

I use the mole skin for bow shelves myself. The black or camo sticker type felt stuff. works great and no damage to mag cap. I had a claw sling with the hush plastic things break carrying a $1200 rifle so i took them off and replaced with metal.
