I had a very limited window to drive from NC to FL and harvest my First Osceola! . We arrived in FL on Friday afternoon to setup a few blinds and do a little scouting. Saturday morning my buddy was able to harvest a nice bird by 7:30AM. By late morning I was getting nervous but never lost faith. I had Sunday morning to hunt if I wasn't able to connect but that wasn't necessary. At 7:15PM this bird was headed back to the roost when he couldn't handle the DSD setup. I was able to roll him @ about 35yrds and didn't have to worry about a long trip back to NC. Thank You FL for your wild turkey!
