I was a pot call guy long before I even knew there was such a thing as a box call. Most mornings a pot is still the first call out of my vest. I taught myself how to run one. No idea what I was doing but killed two big gobblers with a Knight & Hale Double glass many years ago the first day I ever turkey hunted. I called one in that morning and killed it, went back that afternoon to the same place and killed another one. Can you say I was hooked.
You need to get some of those killer Albert Paul boxes out and start posting pics. You have some of the finest I have seen.

You are right about pot calls. I've got two in my vest in Ms. They are killers for sure. I've got 3 Albert Paul boxes one wing bone and a 1 cane.

I have several of Larry's pot calls..my "go to" calls year after year..Called many a bird with his hackberry pot slate on glass call...awesome call! His cocobolo copper pot calls are awesome too...Can't go wrong with Larry Gresser's pot calls.
