Doris and I were in SC for the weekend. We just got home, maybe an hour ago now. We were greeted by 4 very nice gobblers with some serious beards in our driveway. They were nervous and ran back toward my range and then into the woods.
What a way to be greeted after a long trip.
We sill have a about a month before our season here, so I don't know if they'll stick around but any one of them would be a nice bird.
Thanks,
Clark

these wild birds run around the neighborhood. I call to them all the time to get them fired up. So far they haven't displayed any characteristics of being call shy. ;D
Nice pics......
