Went out this morning to start my listening before the season. Heard 1 and seen 5 longbeards and 11 jakes. Will be out from now on listening and with the weather in the 60's the next few days it should only get better.

The Lord blessed me to be able to get out early Saturday morning at my spot in VA. Stepped out of the truck at 6:55 AM to hear a hen cutting and yelping the next ridge over then followed by 3 gobblers possibly 4 sounding off. They done this a few times and it ended....was awesome to hear! It will get more regular in the next few weeks.

Nothing this morning. Seen 3 longbeards that I know didn't gobble. Wind was pretty harsh at daybreak but it's starting to die down.
