Title: Indiand Creek chokes and Longbeards
Post by: TnTurk on March 04, 2014, 06:03:48 PM
Just wondering if anyone has shot the longbeards out of IC choke tubes and had any issues with the resin building up in the ports. I know some have hinted around that it may happen.

I've read that Winchester used Indian Creek chokes for their testing of the Long Beards. I'd bet if there was a issue with build up that it got corrected early in the development process.

I had heard reports of "dust clouds & smoke like a muzzle loader " among others.  I've shot 30 LB's so far and in my findings none of it has proven to be true.  The buffer/resin gets pulverized upon detonation of the shell and I have noticed zero difference in the LB's from any other load... except for GREAT lead patterns!!!
