Been out several times the last month and the gobbling is as hot as it can be. Live in Central Texas and go out almost every morning and have not been when I did not hear at least one gobbler.
Went to south Texas this weekend and it was cold on Thursday morning and very windy and didn't hear a bird. Woke up on Friday and low wind and the gobblers were everywhere. Counted at least 12 different ones and probably more. Rios really like to hear themselves. Gonna hit them on opening day. Cannot wait.
Great update. Headed to Crockett county first week in April.
