Title: North East IA
Post by: tree-rat sniper on February 26, 2014, 10:09:47 PM
Whilst doing some dishes yesterday afternoon (3-4:00) I observed 10-12 turkeys on my neighbors cornfield which is currently snow covered.  Further inspection with the Steiners revealed 2 longbeards in the group.  The temp was -0 and the wind speed was fierce, probably 30 mph steady.  This field is about 300 yards from my house & if there was any communication going on it couldn't be heard in the wind... Getting the itch, spring can't come soon enough! ;D
