Let me start by saying that I have not been building calls for a long time.... only 4 to 5 years now. I haven't stretched thousands of calls as many of you have either... I had a question about how tight you stretched calls. I think I set a new record for myself... I made 15 or so for a friend to compete with. I stretched them to 325-330. that is nearly double what I yelp on.

While cutting them the cuts were blown way out of proportion.. Have any of you ever experienced this? Another thing that happened was the top reed had a wrinkle in it. Why would this happen? I tried crimping them hard and soft, and that did not seem to help.. Any advice?
