Title: Looking for a compact/light box call
Post by: kevin2 on January 10, 2014, 12:15:26 AM
I'm trying to lighten up my load this season & I'm looking for a light and compact box call.

Any photos or links would be great...

For a compact call that gives some of the same tones I would check out OG pushpins.  You would be hard pressed to find an equal box call in that small frame size.

But I am open to suggestions as well.  LEts here it pro's

Based on your description of what you are looking for, you don't want a box call. What you want is a scratch box. Box call sound that fits in a shirt pocket.

That's just a few options, many more out there.

X3 for Mr. Paul.  Great sound and if you are not satisfied he will take it back no questions asked and build a different one if you like.  He has no problems reselling the call.  Great quality with awesome sound!

I think a scratch box wood be perfect for what your asking. I've used both spring creek and wing bone man calls and both sound great. Easy to cary and you don't have to go out of your way to keep it quiet while caring it. As for Mr. Paul's box call, outstanding!!!!!!!!

Check out Scott Wilpers pocket rocket. Do a search with his name and it should pull it up.

I got one of these last year and love it. Sounds great and good volume for a small call.
