Pretty sure he meant seven total with a period ending the sentence. 5 in SC and 2 in FL.

Hahahaha, dang he got me.....duh....good catch buddy
8= 2 in FL, 2 in AL, 1 in AZ, and 3 in CA. I could have had a double grand slam in 1 year but only had 1 San Carlos Indian Reservation tag. Didn't realize the possibilities of that until it was to late to get another tag.
TRKYHTR
I've taken 6 twice now in the past few spring seasons hunting in multiple states.
Four in a single spring. We have a one bird limit locally.
5,2 in pa,2 in ny,1 in montana
I have taken 8 per year a few seasons, that's the limit in the 2 states I hunt. Looks like I might have a decent season again this year. Today I was going to check a few deer cameras and this is what I saw.. This was 14 long beards in this flock, I watched them for about 45 min. I hope they start staying out of sight. I don't want to many people seeing these.

I have taken a limit of 5 in Alabama a few times. In 2010 I did it in 7 days. I did a lot of fishing that year.

If you can put me on a VERY inexpensive Osceola, you got an open invite to VA I've got somewhere around 30K acres of private land to hunt

First one of the year- Alabama
Last one of the year- Georgia
5 this year, 4 spring (2 Kansas, 2 Oklahoma), one this fall

Best I can remember is was. . .

but I've slept since then. . . killed 11 one year and 10 a few times. :fud: :funnyturkey:
8....there are a few lucky ones still breathin'
4 in TX
3 in OK
2 in KS
2 in MO
2 in SD
10 each of the last two years
eight , from Alabama and Tennessee.
2 spring gobblers and 2 fall hens for 4 total.
Best season so far was last spring (2013)
2 toms from SD
1 jake and 1 tom from Ontario.
1 tom in Quebec.
5 spring turkeys in total.
11 in 2012. Got two public land slams that year.
2 in FL
2 in MS
2 in MO
2 in KS
3 in NE
4 or 5
4, Only hunt PA and Ohio, each State allows 2 Spring birds, don't Fall Turkey hunt, as I'm bowhunting deer then.
4 Longbeards for me best season I ever had. The next season I got skunked lol
For me it is much more about numbers called in as I do more calling for others and getting newbies into turkey hunting. The most gobblers I called up in one morning years ago was 33. I had 32 jakes up at one time and after the guest who was with me let them pass we headed back to the vehicle. A quarter mile or so down the road I owled once and a single older gobbler rang out near us. Within 5 minutes he was being slung over my shoulder.
I never killed over 5 in one season, our limit in Alabama.
