Title: Got my bird back from the taxidermist

Shawn Scott of Soggy Bottom Taxidermy (http://www.soggybottomtaxidermy.com/) did the mount. Also, if you ever need to get a mount transported long distance, I recommend Alan Porter and Wild Game Transport (https://www.facebook.com/wildgametransport21). He did a great job getting my bird to NY from Savannah.

Man, that turned out awesome. I didnt know you got him to build the base too. Pretty dang sweet.

Yeah the base came out nice, but shipping it was a killer. If I was doing it over I'd think about finding someone to build that part local. I'm really happy with how it all turned out though.

That's one of the best and coolest mounts I have seen! 

I'll bet that set you back several hundreds!  But it looks worth it to me.   :icon_thumright:
