Title: Son's First Buck

Here are a couple pictures my son's first buck he shot last weekend during Iowa's youth season. Definitely a day he will never forget.

Congrats to the young man..That will be etched in his mind forever. It don't get any better than that..
Where in Iowa are you??  I have a sister in the Atlantic area..

We are in Cedar Rapids and hunted about an hour north. Atlantic is about 200 miles west.

My son past on several deer with his gun & bow over several years before he shot one last year. He announced to me on each occasion that the deer in front of him weren't big enough!

Nice buck for your son...likely one of the most memorable days of his/your lives.

Small world I have family in Griswold and rural Grant.
