Purchased some blanks the other day from my friend justturnin at the prompting from vaturkey, as he wanted a trumpet turned out of this piece, I turned it last night, beautiful coloring reds, blues in a pearlized resin with what looks to be sumac or myrtlewood burl. hope you like her Ricky...pappy

Ohh Pappy, you dun guud. That call looks amazing. I think that is the #11 so that is Chittum Burl (American Smoke Tree) out of the great state of Alabama.
Looks sharp Pappy.
nice one , very sharp.
For some reason snowcone comes to mind. Nice trumpet.

Unique, I like it
Very sharp looking Trumpet Pappy!! Looks like your turning ended up with much more of Justturnin's resin mixture, which is very nice may I add, than the last call that I turned for him for the Jake's day donation. Great Job and you did that piece of wood good!!!!
