I appreciate all of your prayers. I can only get on the computer for a few minutes each day, so I've not been able to thank each of you personally but please know that both of us appreciate all that you've said and your continued prayers for us.
Another big step today and some good news earlier, so progress is being made each day, although it seems slow at times.
I'm sore and I've been limited as to my activity, which will go on for several more weeks but after my visit this afternoon, I should be able to get out and walk some.

Monday marked the 4th week since my surgery. Today I visited my surgeon for a progress report. He has released me and I'm now allowed to "use common sense" in my activities.
I still have several weeks before the incisions will be completely healed but other than that, I'm good to go.
I'll have to be careful with what I lift and am not supposed to put myself in a strain but I can begin to take care of the place again, pacing myself to regain my strength.
I can not thank you all enough for your prayers, your PMs and your emails. It means more than I'll ever be able to tell you.

Yes, I believe that completely. I've had so many people praying for me and I have not doubt whatsoever that it has made a difference in both the outcome of my surgery and my recovery.

Thank you all so much for your words of encouragement and your prayers. I'm following doctor's orders and thankfully, I'm able to do a little more than I've been able to for the last several months. It will just take a while to get my full strength back.
I had a great surgeon, his staff was very supportive and Doris has been a great nurse and all around support.
