I just finished this turkey for a friend of mine. I normally don't mount turkeys for anyone other than myself. He asked if I would mount this turkey because it has 5 Beards. He is not a big turkey hunter but he had moved and where he moved there was a bunch of turkeys. After he dropped this turkey off he said he went hunting that next weekend and killed a gobbler that had 2 beards, 1 beard was almost 12" and it had 1 1/2" spurs. I think I am going to ask him if I can come and hunt next year. LOL

Yes it's a freeze dried head and yes I painted it.

It's top notch work. I've seen mounts from some of the biggest names in the business that don't have heads as nice as that one.

That's a great looking mount Joe!! :you_rock:
It looks natural, like a gobbler walking along, and really accentuates the beards and spurs. I like it!! :z-winnersmiley: :icon_thumright:

And I hear ya about asking to hunt there! :lol:
