I talked to Darrell a few days ago. He was working on building crow calls with wooden mouthpieces. To say he was excited is an understatement. He is really on to something here. The first is a stabalized black ash burl and the second is a striped maple. I've got several of his with the plastic mouthpieces but these two are outstanding. Totally different sound than the others and packed full of crow.

You've got some GREAT calls on your hands ....CONGRATS!!! Darrell lives about fifteen mins. from my house....I try to go see him as much as I can....he's a FINE gentleman!!!
