Swapped my REM 7600 in 30-06 for a new Ruger American 7mm-08. Had to order so I haven't had the pleasure of shooting it yet. I've been tempted to trade in the past, but could never pull it off. Next will be a new scope for it. Looking forward to going to the range.
always loved my rem 30-06 until i bought a savage in 7mm-08 for my wife, i use it everytime she doesnt hunt. its a sweet shooting gun

My wife shoots the same gun.
That 7600 isn't that a pump, or am I wrong? I have a .270 in the model 7400 and really like it.
I like the 7mm-08 but I dont think I could part with my Pump gun. But good luck with the new rifle they are sweet shooting.

I still have my first deer rifle, a Rem model 141 in 32 Rem. It's a sweet old pump gun. Ammo is getting a bit hard to find.
That is my dream rifle even though I haven't killed a deer with a rifle since 2001. All kills since then have been with either a crossbow or muzzle loader.
