Title: 28 Gauge

New on the block here!  Nice to see the interest in the 28 gauge.  Never have owned a 12 on purpose - had several given to me that I traded off.

Always been a 20 gauge guy.  Until I met the 28!  Boils down to what would you shoot at with a .50 cal black powder?  Here in Virginia turkey do understand that when hit by a 28 load, they just as dead as when hit by a 10.  Deer have the same understanding.

Maybe I am in the wrong forum -- if so -- sorry.

Love to hear more about your experiences with the 28.

Just a heads up,  you would probably have more luck talking to the guys in the 28 gauge section of the forum. (It's a child board to the turkey gun area)
