Is ca glue readily available? Does it require any special prep to use? I am not a call maker, I just have a couple strikers I want to put a protective coating on. Thanks

It is but it would be alot easier to apply on a lathe. If the strikers are already made I would probably use lacquer to finish them you can pick it up a any home improvement store or paint store.
