Title: Beard question
Post by: GOOSESLAYER on May 17, 2013, 10:57:42 PM
I have a beard that has a clump of at least 5 strands that are solid as a rock. Anyone know what causes this and is there any way to get them apart??? Thanks

Pic might help. Does it seem like there is something in it?

That is interesting.  Why do you want them apart?

I've seen that before but don't know what causes it. I say leave it like it is.

I've killed a bird with a beard like that before. I left mine as it was. Just more unique than the others.

I've seen that before. It appears to me to be some sort of waxy coating that protects the hairs of the beard and sometimes they get clumped together. If you want to peel those apart you could, but that is fairly common.
