Title: half 'n' half
Post by: bbcustomboxcalls on May 15, 2013, 12:19:04 PM
These are made just like my solid body boxes but with mahogany on one side and poplar on the other side with a purpleheart band.
They sound great!  Lots of rasp and good rollover.  I made three, going to keep one for myself.

Very nice looking calls. How much does the sound vary from one side to the other?

There is a definite difference from one side to the other with the poplar being a little raspier.
