The Pine Ridge in NE had a substantial amount of land burned this past fall. Has anyone hunted it this year? My area was almost completely consumed by fire. It saddens me to know it will never be the same. :( :'(
I've opted to try Washington this year instead of my usual Pine Ridge hunt. The burn consumed the biggest part of what I have hunted the last five years, but I'll go back to hunt what is left in the future.
Going out there in 10 days, if that doesn't pan out we are heading either to the SW or Valentine area. Should be interesting to see how the burn affected the area.
been wondering myself. hobbes i thought about you today and s wondering if you was going to make the trip. i been wanting to call the land owner who we used his land to get to the national forest, but haven't, but this week i am.
