It's been really good hunting for the past week. Most of the hens have been bred, and the Toms are responding very well to calls. That's the good news, temps went from high 60's yesterday to high 30's today with blowing rain and snow. Should be OK by the weekend if the dadgum wind will stop blowing. I killed a good Tom yesterday, from the time I left the house, set up, called got an immediate response bird strutted in I shot him and was home in less than 30 minutes..  I didn't know what to do with the rest of the afternoon, so I went out knockin on doors for new ground and got a great new place to hunt. All in all it was a great day.. Hope you have a great hunt, best of luck...DG
