Well this morning things happened quickly .. Had four birds come in and three birds leave... I have a few questions for yall ? What are all these sores all over his head ?? I have never seen this before...

The sores are even on his body.. Could they be from fighting ???

He has 1 inch spurs and a 10 1/2 inch beard...

Congrats on the bird! Looks like it might be avian pox, but I can't say I've ever seen a case in person so I'm just going off photos I've seen.
defiantly some sort of something going on there, but he did have a big ol' noggin. Congrats on a great bird.

Congrats on the bird! Those are some odd wounds and my initial though was fighting wounds, but it looks more like a skin disease though.
Looks like avian pox to me. Congrats on a nice gobbler.

congrats on a great bird, but could they possobly be scars from shot, like maybe they just bearely broke the skin,not enough energy to kill him, probably not but just a thought.
