My son and I on his first turkey hunt this spring. He was worried about the 20ga. kicking too hard so I let him shoot 7.5 target loads. If one sees one of our decoys they generally spend some time there, so I set it at 10 yds. and all went well.

I opened it a bit more so I could climb out, but it was open a lot. You can see in some of the footage how open it was, and here is a remote cam pic from another hunt showing how open I usually have it.
