Title: Finally connected in NC.

Well after 2 seasons in a row with the big 0,(except for my step son) I finally connected this AM at around 9:45. The bird seemed like it was in a fight.The breast feathers were rubbed off and one spur was broken off and bloody. The bird weighed in at 22LBS with a 10in beard also the bird would not answer any of my calles,the only way I knew he was comming was he would shock gobble at the crows or whatever and was getting closer by the minute. All in all a blessed day.I will try to post pictures when my wife gets home because I dont know how to do it.

Hello Frogfish, I was in Stokes co. BTW do you happen to be on the open carry forums? because there is someone on there from NC who goes by frogfish.
