Title: up close with the .665 IC and BPS
Post by: reflexl on March 25, 2013, 07:40:42 PM
Well after shooting the tightest lead patterns I have ever seen with the BPS and .665 IC choke using W-W 3.5" HV #5s I got to thinking about some of my close range misses in the past. I set up a target at  15 yards and let the lead fly. It had a 1.25" hole in the target about 1.5" high and .5" to the left. There was a fairly close cloud about 3" around the hole that would have killed any bird. Close shots I will just aim at the neck and watch the head pop off! reflex264

I have that choke in that gun also, and it shoots amazing patterns.

Every shell I've tried, even 3" Win Sup HV #5's.
5's and 6's in Lead.  6's, 7's, and Magnum Blend in HTL.
