Not much gobbling so far in Lowndes or Dallas counties, but have been lucky enough to have two birds down in two days. Another roosted this evening, so I have a plan for a third!

March 16. Spotted this guy off a dirt road strutting alone. Doubled back, got around to a food plot behind him. Put up a deke and called a little and he showed in about 20 minutes. Again, never gobbled.

March 19. Brand new game. Gobbling like crazy before light, and and for almost 45 minutes after sunup. Flew down and not another gobble...But in all fairness, I didn't give him a lot of time to.
