Title: SBE vs sbe2 stock question
Post by: bowhunter84 on March 13, 2013, 10:55:47 AM
Will a stock for a SBE 2 fit a SBE 1 ?     I'm considering putting a pistol grip stock on my SBE 1 but all I can find them to fit is a SBE 2 and wasn't sure if they would interchange or not.

Thanks!

no it won't fit. Although, you can look on the internet and find a stock that will. I've found one for my M1. It looks the same as the ones that fits the SBE2s but its not the same. Its actually designed for the M4 carbine, and it does require a tab bit of work to get it on but it will fit.

How can you tell the difference between them? I bought a steady grip for my SBEII, but I think it's for a SBE. The recoil pad I got for it, for a SBEII won't fit, but Im fairly certain the one for a SBE will. What's the difference between the two, internally?

That one didn't fit?  I thought it was for a SBEII???  Sorry that didn't work out for you.

If you're looking to move that pad, feel free to shoot me a PM.

The stock fits the gun fine. But I bought a recoil pad for the stock for a SBEII. The pad doesn't fit the gun, but a pad for a SBE will, hence my confusion.
