This is a mesquite call with bead blasted bronzed glass over a padauk soundboard and comes with a padauk striker. This is a combination I really like, but would condition half of the surface with sandpaper if I was going to use it myself. I like the yelps this combination produces with a sanded surface better than bead blasted... just my 2 cents... It produces nice purrs and clucks, hard hitting cuts and good breaking yelps. If you sand a portion of the surace, it should produce raspier yelps. This one is SOLD.
