Title: Beretta A400 Xtreme
Post by: memtigerfan on March 08, 2013, 11:40:38 AM
Anyone have experience using the A400 Xtreme for turkey hunting?  Got one for Christmas and have been crow hunting with it and plan to use it instead of my 870 this year.

I hunt some with my Extrema 2.  It's a little heavy for run and gun and the length isn't great in thick woods. It throws a great pattern with Indian Creek and Nitros or about any load.

I have that gun and it enjoy it very much, along with a few others. I have not been able to pattern mine for Turkey's yet... I am waiting on Willaim at Sumtoy to send me a replacement choke, as the 1st choke sent was made for another type of gun and did not fit. I purchased a Versa Max Pro=Bore choke from him that shot really well.

I have seen the patterns using a pattern master choke and Hevi 3.5" #5's in the A400 Xtreme and they were great.
