Title: Has anyone got a good pattern from Hornadys?
Post by: reflexl on March 07, 2013, 02:25:44 PM
I have tried them in several guns and several buddies have as well. No one has a decent pattern at 40. My best pattern was when I did what they said not to, shot it in a turkey choke. Out of a modified choke my pellet counts were 50-60. reflexl

I tried some last year, it was so bad I didn't even bother to count them.

No, they are terrible. I bought some last year before I read on here how terrible they shoot. I tried it anyway and I was in the 60s also with my 835 and IC .675 choke. It was in the 30s and barrel was dirty but still the worst out of all the ammo I own. I thought that if they put out great rifle ammo they would be decent at turkey ammo.
