Benelli Nova 24" barrel
IC .665 choke tube
Hevi 13 3.5" 2 1/4 oz #7 shot
40 yds
10" circle= 223 hits.
Is this 223 hits what I should expect with this choke and H13 load or should it have been better?
I would expect better but thats more then good enough :icon_thumright:
Going from around 100 to 115 at 40 yds this change to IC chokes and h13 #7 shot has increased my shot count a ton. Im sure I could spend another xxx amount of dollars and get 300 hits at 40 yds, but Dead is Dead right?

Based on Drum's results Yes... I played with a buddies nova last year with a SSX last year and put up 297
You should have plenty of margin for error however

I'd suggest a .655 choke for that load.

That's more than enough to kill birds but like Spuriousity said they will work with ya, seance you have a 665 I would try a 660 an see what that does for ya, or maybe somebody allready has an will let you know...
