I know Nitro tests from a 24" barrel. Anyone know what barrel length Hevi-13 is tested at?
It has long been speculated they use a 32" barrel to get the numbers they report in their advertisement.

Manufacturers use a 30" barrel and chronograph the muzzle velocity at 3' from the muzzle.
Thanks,
Clark

Thanks. That's what I figured. No telling what velocities these short barreled guns are shooing with the slow Hevi-13's.
They kill the snot out of turkeys, that's fast enough for me.

So does lead but that's not what we are discussing.
What exactly are we discussing? I'm sure the Hevi13's are slow, but they kill good is all I was saying.
If you really want to know buy a chrono and shoot some through it.
