Title: 870 & carlsons choke

Carlsons .575 rem trky in 870. Do any of ya'll use this combo or have patterned with fed hw #7's?

I have never used any carlson's chokes in any of my 870's.  Shoot it and post the patterns so we will have a record of it. My guess is that it will get an average of around 123-130 at 40.  Let us know.

Fed hw #7s. First shot-197 @ 40yds, second shot-140s @ 40yds. May have to clean between shots.

thats the best choke ive found for 20ga federal 7s or hevi 7s, looks like your numbers are really good too...

I believe you found your combo!  Great numbers.  Just for verification, what length barrel or you shooting?  I would also bore snake in between shots and I think you will like how your gun performs.  Thanks for posting!

It's a 24" barrel. I figure if I can average around 150 I should be fine.
