Finally got around to a project I've wanted to try for a while and made my first wingbone. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out for a first try.

Outstanding, looks like you've been doing it for years.
Thanks for the kind words guys! I really enjoyed the process and I've already got a few more put together waiting to be wrapped. I think I've definitely found a new hobby for myself.
Wow! I love wingbones, that one is  I can tell you it is as addictive as turkey hunting ;D

Nice caller.
Thanks again for all the comments everyone!
Also, I should have mentioned this from the start, but for anyone who has been toying with the idea of building a wingbone but was wondering how to start, this is an excellent resource: http://www.customcalls.com/yabbforumimages/jgwingbone.pdf
I read that through several times before I started my own and it really gave me a good idea of what to do. I deviated from the instructions a little bit here and there, but it gave me a very solid foundation to build off of. I would encourage anyone who has ever thought about trying a similar project to go ahead and do it, it was a lot of fun.
If you had told me you have made 500 I would believe you -GOOD JOB !!
Very Nice! You sir are off to a running start with this one! :icon_thumright:
Great looking call. I've built 120 to date, there is no comparison between the early ones and the finished product now. Your first one looks fantastic, cannot wait to see the 100th one :-)
