Title: Scratch Boxes

Got a few different woods finished and ready to go. Top to bottom; purpleheart, mahogany, walnut, osage orange and curly maple. Hey Mike I bought a scratch box from you a couple weeks ago. I haven't got a chance to play with it too much yet but it is a nice call. I have a dumb question for you. Are you supposed to run the call flat on both of the edges or is only one edge the sound board. Thanks Jeff W.

No such thing as a dumb question. I hold the striker in my left hand between the base of my thumb and my middle finger.  Tip the box back slightly on one edge,or rail, and stroke it across the striker away from you. I'll gladly make you a short video if you like.  Mike
